Elvárt kompetenciák

Job description:

  • Supports user account administration, system software and data configuration management, quality assurance of the technical system and for the maintenance of supported processes and their technical documentation;
  • Provides 1st level user support (on the phone, remotely via the LAN or onsite) for the user community within the NATO HQ Sarajevo/EUFOR HQ and supported locations;
  • Logs, tracks, coordinates, escalates and closes CIS incidents (Trouble Tickets) IAW with established procedures and SLA’s and provides feedback to the user;
  • Via available Service Management tools efficiently handles and prioritize all incoming CIS related incidents and forwards them to the respective 2nd or 3rd level support tier, if necessary;
  • Enters/updates the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) to ensure proper registration of CIS equipment and systems;
  • Works in close cooperation with the 2nd level support office and provides configuration and asset management information for CIS client platforms;
  • Performs daily management of the site VTC and Conference Room systems such scheduling VTC with external sites, problem resolution and conference room configuration/ support to meet requirements for scheduled conferences;
  • Manages all communication with customers and provide update information and provide status for all tickets;
  • Monitors and provides appropriate response to network alarming systems via assessment of customer impact;
  • Provides first level support and escalate issues for network support specialists available on 24×7 basis;
  • Monitors and ensures efficiency of network systems and connected sources;
  • Provides reports and statistics to management

The ideal candidate carries:

  • Strong command of the English language to enable business communication at the spoken and written levels (STANAG Level 3333);
  • Excellent problem diagnosis and solving skills, able to analyze client problems by type and severity in order to provide effective resolution;
  • Highly organized, able to prioritize work, make recommendations and work with little supervision;
  • Highly motivated to produce quality results;
  • Ability to handle difficult and/or stressful situations while maintaining a positive customer service attitude;
  • Formal certified training or equivalent experience with Microsoft SharePoint;
  • Formal certified training or equivalent experience with Microsoft Office Suite;
  • Formal certified training or equivalent experience with Microsoft Active Directory services;
  • Formal certified training or equivalent experience with VTC systems (Polycom HDX 7000/6000);
  • Formal certified training or equivalent experience with various desktop operating systems;
  • Experience and/or formal training in the use of enterprise incident management, monitoring and troubleshooting tools (HP Open View, Microsoft System Center Service Manager, BMC Remedy, What’s Up Gold as examples);
  • Experience with configuration management;
  • MUST hold NATO Secret or above Security Clearance (or be able to secure);
  • MUST possess a valid Passport;
  • MUST possess a valid Driver license;

Desirable certifications:

  • CCNA
  • CompTIA A+
  • CompTIA Network+
  • CompTIA Security+
  • MCSA Server 2012
  • MCSA (MCITP) Windows 7
  • MCSA Windows 8/10
